Welcome to Berkshire Community Sailing

 

We are located on beautiful Pontoosuc Lake in Pittsfield Massachusetts. 

 

Our goal is to provide a convenient and safe community based sailing facility, provide moorings for sailboats, a full sailing school, and offer non-sailors the opportunity to rent canoes and rowboats.

Took 3rd place in the Developmental Design Class

The Williams College Sailing Team uses Berkshire Community Sailing as their home base. They practice daily and host up to 4 New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association sanctioned regattas a year. Check out their website.

We work closely with the American Red Cross, sharing resources, offering instruction and developing safe small craft safety programs. The Albany Chapter hosts a National Aquatics School each June at Camp Fowler in Speculator NY. Check out their website.
